This piece was created during my art residency at Starry Night Retreat in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico in July, 2017.

This piece is primarily water color-based. I added oil pastel only to layers that also included thicker acrylic paint just above the dried water color layer and used a metal scrapping tool to remove paint in between the oil pastel. Graphite encloses the scene within the scene, evoking a sense of tunnel vision, of TV watching.
